Hey guys! Wow, it's been very long since i blogged! Now i got more personal space, i want to write about what happened today in the ESS 14th june 08!

Wow, a magic moment! I saw how God worked his miracles once more, you know the saying, one minute on stage is 10 years under the stage! Whatever translations~ This ESS has been a struggle for me! i won't mind admitting that it was a growth period for me, as god reveal certain flaws in me he corrected, and i wana thank him, if it weren't for him, i would not be able to play the instrumental songs.. I really practised alot before the special service but no matter how much i practised, i couldn't seem to be able to trust in what i have to pull the service off on the actual day. Truth to be told to you guys, all the rehearsals we have with the drama team, music team, worship team, sound team, lights team and mm team were not well, the transitions were slow, actors moved slow, the groove of the music was not there, the lights were retarded, the sound was bad and so on and so on. You guys did not see the backstage happenings but we saw it all and it wasn't good.. but Everyone still gave their best and effort in spite of what was the circumstances and the cook-ups we faced, the refuge we had was a simple prayer to God. And then at 7pm on 14th june 08, the service started, pnw went and it was awesome seeing many people praise god, then the instrumental part where i had to play, the drama part... the sermon, the song presentation, the worship, altar call and finally FINISHED! The service was over.

I could take forever to write the thanks i have for everything God has blessed me about but instead i will just take this time to tell God that i don't deserve it, all of us don't but...

Hey guys! hello god! Hello world! Hello everyone! Today you guys are reading this.. it would be more words than pictures..
I have left my band, my band i formed with my closest friends and brothers! To say leave i think that is irresponsible but rather i would say leave for a godly cause!! I never thought this day would come! Me started as a soloist! Playing for myself! i always wish i had a band! All my friends had bands and i had nothing! Then as i came back to christ and after a year.. God gave me a band! 100% idiot-proof! i really learnt alot in this band, this band experience has probably taught me more about each unique and special individual that i would like to affirm now!

First on the list is the kool and kranky Keyboardist!

Yes! this is him alright!

Well, i always thought there was something special about this brother! he may not look like it but he is really a simple loving brother! He doesn't seem to look very responsible about his life but he is really a brother that cares for his brothers!! i remember that time we went to the birdpark together to take photos! it was really cool! that time we were supposed to go school but i was really bored with school and i skipped it! Not that i am proud of it, in fact i thought after that that school was more fun than the birdpark!! but because of that day, we spent time together and had fun! Ah but blake.. let's stop skipping school for no reason! lolz!!

Heng yu!

Ah~ a nice close-up of him! yeap! that's him singing alright!

Ah heng yu! Why did you name our band 100% idiot-proof?! I mmean.. how did you come up with a name like THAT?!? (silence..) That's brilliant!! That's the best name ever!!! The best band name EVER on earth!! Yeap, you heard me right man, folks! i am so proud to say that heng yu is the person who made this band have its character! The 100% idiotssssss-PROOF character! I think heng yu is a person who is very determined! at first, when he said he was going to become a bassist, i thought he was just joking! but today he is the bassist for 100% idiotproof! And there's no one who can snatch this awesome job from him! Not yet! Heng yu is a person really passionate about music and i can see that god has given him this unique gift to play music! Bro! i know this is probably going to hurt me more than it hurts you but.. i have to leave this band so that i can focus more on my ministry for God, it's not a selfish desire because i feel that if more souls can be saved, i think it will be worth-it! And remember that i have already challenged you to become a levite too! i want to see you use your gift for god's kingdom too!

God is looking for you! he has found you to be a person with talents! unique talents to build his kingdom!

Hey jie xian! Great knowing you through the band and stuff! it's been fun playing with you on guitars!

Jie xian is heng yu's cousin! the history of this band started when this two cousins decided to play originally punk-rock music! playing and playing in their own bedrooms probably was boring.. So after much thought and a god given chance, 100% idiot-proof was set-up! Ah jie xian, so many things i wanaa talk to you about! so many naruto things! do not think that because i am leaving the band means we won't see each other already! In the holidays when we have activities! i ask you to join us too! you know? you are a person who doesn't really see what you are capable of doing! you can play guitar and sing! d' you know that that is a rare gift? not everyone can do it! well i can la but let's not talk about me..! but i really think you are gifted! So don't stop there! don't stop at being a rhythm guitarist only! huh! throw all the hard parts to me! haha!! perhaps me leaving will make you grow more! develop this gift well and you can make wonderful music! Hey jie xian! really want to encourage to stay on in 100% idiot-proof and take over my role! You can do it de! And maybe one day can see you come to our church too!! lolz! God bless you!

Hey jason! your drumming skills always encourage me to think of a new groove to play! you are a really cool drummer! i think you are a person that really love music too otherwise you would not have thought of forming a band and you really love the rp group so that's why you formed a band out of your own group! A first, when i considered leaving the band, i was worried that it would affect our friendship and i was worried about that but.. i always knew you could sense these things! you already knew i was going to leave, i really thank you for being so understanding, it really means alot to me! I also challenged you to use your gifts for god too! you may not know it now or even see it.. but god will surely call you and i pray that whatever he calls you in, you will also take up the challenge! love you bro!

Wow! We had THE NYPRP [means nyp and rp] christmas countdown on 24th dec! [if not 24 then when!] the eve of christmas!! It was very fun!!! A Story Of The Butterfly's Beauty!

Hey guys! i'm sorry i did not blog for so long! But it was because i was looking for something interesting to blog to tell you guys about! They always say Good Things Come To Those Who Wait! And so, after weeks of findings, i think i want to tell you guys a story that inspired me from a butterfly itself! Ya! i'm not joking, a simple short story of a butterfly that impacted me...

Have you ever wondered.. If dreams really come true?

Maybe you need to know how to make them come true!

~~The story of the butterfly~~

Taking photos is never easy especially with a butterfly this big!

This is the actual size [no need to re-size!!] :D

You don't believe? Fine, i use my hand as an example...

Hahaha!! Believe already? THat's my hand, no joke! :p

Anyway, this is the story.. Taking photos of this beast is not easy!

Difficulty points:
1: Keeps flying around
2: It's at night... so camera speed very slow
3: I keep shaking camera... not easy le!!
4: I got to think like a butterfly...
5: The butterfly likes the ceiling... (troublesome to get..)

I think i hated the last point the most!! The butterfly could fly so it got itself
onto the ceiling and i could not reach it!! I tried making sounds so it would
come down but it did not.. Then i tried using my mouth to blow it down, but i
wasn't very good at blowing the butterfly down too.. Then i used a slipper to
tickle its wing so that it would come down! It flew around.. and settled back at
the ceiling again! Wah piang! Very frustrating!! Then i try to use some other
methods too but i wont mention here in case some people mis-read and think
i am torturing animals..! But no matter what i did, it just wont come down!!!!
ArgH!! I wanted to give up!!!
But i really wanted to take a nice photo of the butterfly!! i wanted to get a
good photo and i knew i wouldn't sleep until i got it! I remember a saying,
if you persevere, your dream will come true! At that point of time, i wanted
to find the person who said this and Beat him/her up!! because it was
simply too hard! But i still didn't want to just give up like that! Probably
because i had spent a long time taking photos of the butterfly, to tell me to
give up without a good picture was a No-no for me!! I had to do it!
I went back into the house, i took a chair... i will surely take your picture!
So for the next five minutes i chased the butterfly around the ceiling!! I
wanted to make it land on my hand! Land land land!!! Finally it did!
I took alot of shots of it...

Haha! Shy butterfly!!

Awe! Isn't it sweet?

.... it's rubbing its nose... (itchy huh?)

Very itchy ah! Rub even harder!

Last of the photos...! Sweet!!

In the end what i had learn was that People who persevere on will make it!
Breakthroughs will happen! We just need to be disciplined and diligent and just
persevere.. And it will happen! The lord says, in Isaiah 40 v29-31:

He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
But those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
They will run and not grow weary,
They will walk and not be faint.

Wow! I think i learn something great today! My encounter was fresh!
I used to not be ready for anything in life, and even in school, i make that
mistake alot of time.. But I am ready now! I will surely live my life and not
regret it! Amen!! :D

You wonder What will happen after you fall.. And as the signal is giving, you lose control of your body and lean back..

Hahaa! maybe some of you have been through the event and experienced trustfall or maybe not..
Ok! Now to show you the correct method and technique to execute this tricky.. er... maneuver!

Trust team members that they will catch you when you fall ( but make sure they are behind you ah! Otherwise got terrible consequences!! )

Hey! Now is time to update not just my blog but my personal memories of my past! good for me, i'm a photographer! i am lucky that my camera helps me capture past events and i really wana show you guys some of the photos i took in the past! Some is quite abstract la so please bear with it! Oh and please forgive if it loads very long because all these are taken with a high quality camera, i think there will be billions of pixels!

This was taken at a camp! my fren, steward was practising kung fu, i know this is a fluke but hey it looks great!

This is a wedding i went to in bilahan which is somewhere in Indonesia, and they are relatives of my mother! I was their unpaid cameraman from singapore...!

This is the figurines found on the wedding cake, i took it because i want it on my own wedding! Really looks romantic eh?

The Third Entry!!

wow! Arise is coming soon! And what is that about? oh, for people out there, it's actually a event that breaks record!! And we are part of it!! Wee!!! i think it is really great! i mean c'mon this is singapore, how many records have you seen being broken in singapore?! If we are lucky enough, we might get into guiness world records too! And there will be performances, drama and people on that day!! So far, i manage to bag two people to come!! Emily and chun kwee! hopefully i can get more people because breaking records aint easy!! Wah, i really want to say that today was a great day! i finally have enough sleep! recently i find that my jokes have no standard, probably is because i'm sleepy and not there isn't any energy to bring people to smile but thank god, last night can sleep earlier and i've never felt more re-freshed! I really can see that God created rest for a reason, we need to rest fully so that we have enough energy for the next day! God created rest not just for us but also for him to rest with us too! amazing! We have a God who rest with us too! not work work but ret with us too! Hopefully this sat's performance will be great! Enjoy!!!

Hahaha! i think today was the day God really use me to bless my classmate!! It was a tiring day at school and we were quite tired after school, i don't know why but i stayed back abit like usual and found myself around my frens in school. i decided to eat with my frens and what began as a casual talk as we went out of school became a deep talk between me and my fren. he told me that his parents had disowned him ( he was an overseas student from Sri lanka ) because he had a catholic girlfren and his parents were Muslim, his father made him chose between family and girlfren, and he choose girlfren which was a wrong move to make apparently to his parents, and his Father was angry and said he would not provide money for my fren now ( So this is in fact family dis-ownment at its worst out of country! ) . So this fren of mine was now living on one meal a day and faced with many bills ahead too, it really hurt my hear to see my fren who was in the past able to have enough money for everything now suffering because of the decision he made, i decided to treat him to long johns! just treat la! don't care!! and we ate and talked even more! it was great to see him enjoying his food! After the meal, i bought him bread too so that he can eat something at home! ( he says his fridge at home is really just a fridge only! ) Really hope to help him get a job soon and pray that his situation will turn for the better! God really is good! he will use us to provide for people who are in need when the time is right! He really is good! Thank God for everything!!

Haha! it's been some time since i blogged! i have abandoned my old blog but i am doing a new one with my sheep! I'm happy to blog about my life! hopefully this will also inspire many others to do something to allow other people to see their life too! hahaa
For my 1st post, it's a work i did in one of my class, i just did it and somehow, this picture was formed and i was amazed! it's amazing and i love it!! we had fun that lesson using our characters to form a new world too! and here is the picture! Take a look!
